The Woomargama National Park is a national park in the southern Australian state of New South Wales . It is located 20 km southeast of Holbrook and 30 km northeast of Albury in the Riverina . The southern end of the park is just a mile from Lake Hume , which is formed by the Murray River . The park has an east-west extension of approx. 30 km and a north-south extension of approx. 15 km. In 2006 the park covered an area of ​​235.77 km² and the adjacent protected areas an area of ​​7.1 km². In 2010 the national park area had already increased to 241.85 km².

Woomargama National Park was created in January 2001 from the Woomargama State Forest , Dora Dora State Forest and Tipperary State Forest together with some areas of Kronland as part of the Southern Regional Forest Agreement from 2000.
