The Culgoa National Park is a national park in the north of the Australian state of New South Wales , 662 km north of Sydney , 100 km north of Brewarrina and 180 km northeast of Bourke .

The park was created around the floodplains in the floodplain of the Culgoa River on the Queensland state border . You can find many Coolibah trees (Eucalyptus coolabah) and a large number of native species there. To the north of the Culgoa National Park, on the other side of the border in Queensland, is the Culgoa Floodplain National Park .

Visitors can wander through the areas by the river, the Coolibah forests, or the sandy hills where Girasole can be found after the spring rains . There is also a small tent and picnic area in the park that is accessible by car.
