The Brindabella National Park (English Brindabella National Park ) is a national park in the southeast of the Australian state of New South Wales , 34 kilometers west of Canberra in the Australian Alps .
The park lies along the Brindabella Range , a mountain range that runs along the east bank of the Goodradigbee River . To the southeast is the Namadgi National Park in the Australian Capital Territory , to the southwest the Kosciuszko National Park .
In the eucalyptus forests all altitudes from one place extinction threatened animals such as the Regent- honeyeater , the Powerful Owl ( owl ), the Gelbbauch- Gleitbeutler , the Northern Corroboree Frog (Pseudophryne pegilley) and Booroolong Frog (Litoria booroolongensis).
There are four campsites in the park: Flea Creek is basic, the other three - McIntyre's Hut, Lowells Flat, and Coree Camp, have no facilities. McIntyre's Hut and Back Range Hut are places of historical interest. The most popular leisure activities are hiking, orienteering, fishing and tours with all-wheel drive vehicles.
