The Mares Forest National Park is a national park in the center of the Australian state of New South Wales , about 130 km west of Sydney and 50 km northeast of Goulburn .

The 2559 hectare park is located west of the Wollondilly River between the Blue Mountains National Park in the north and the Tarlo River National Park in the south. It consists of a larger southwestern part and a much smaller northeastern part.
