The Gumbaynggirr National Park is a national park in the northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales , about 60 kilometers southwest of Coffs Harbor and about 92 kilometers east of Armidale .

The park connects to the east to the New England National Park and to the west to the Dunggir National Park . The Nambucca River has its source in its northwestern part . The national park is named after the local Aboriginal tribe. Eucalyptus forest grows on the plateau and subtropical rainforest in the river and stream canyons .
