The Ramornie National Park is a national park in north-eastern Australian state of New South Wales , 485 km north of Sydney and 25 km west of Grafton .
The park is located southwest of the Nymboida National Park between the Nymboida River and Orara River .
In the park there is eucalyptus forest with the species "Large-leaved Spotted Gum" ( Corymbia henryi ), "Pink Bloodwood" ( Corymbia intermedia ), lemon eucalyptus ( Corymbia citriodora , syn. Corymbia variegata ), "Thick-leaved Mahogany" ( Eucalyptus carnea ) , "Gray Box" ( Eucalyptus moluccana ), "Gray Gum" ( Eucalyptus propinqua ), "Gray Ironbark" ( Eucalyptus siderafloia ) and "Turpentine" ( Sincarpia glumilifera ). In the last 150 years the area has been used as pasture for cattle and for this purpose the undergrowth has been burned down regularly. This makes the park particularly vulnerable to forest fires, which break out every few years at the latest.
In the woods, ten from found extinction endangered small species of bats .
