The Tapin Tops National Park is a national park in the east of the Australian state of New South Wales , 264 km north of Sydney , about 45 km northwest of Taree and about 75 km southwest of Port Macquarie .

The National Park north of nowendoc river with eucalyptus - primary forest and rainforest existed. A number of endangered species can be found there, such as the Parma wallaby , the Squirrel Glider or the Sphagnum Frog ( species of frog ).

The highest point in the park is the Rowleys Lookout with a height of 1018 m, which can be reached in 45 min. can be hiked from the parking lot. There are several picnic areas in the park.
