The Gourock National Park is a national park in the southeast of the Australian state of New South Wales , about 85 kilometers southeast of Canberra and about 42 kilometers northeast of Cooma .

The park adjoins Deua National Park to the west and Tallaganda National Park to the south and is located on the ridge of the Great Dividing Range . Eucalyptus grows on the table land - primary forest , which provides habitat for the bag marten and other animals that rely on hollow tree trunks.
