The Fortis Creek National Park is a national park in north-eastern Australian state of New South Wales , 520 kilometers north of Sydney and 30 km north of Grafton .

In the park there is a forest with slow-growing trees, which is home to many endangered animal and plant species. Visitors appreciate the mature trees, the trails through the forest, and the opportunities to swim and bird watch. There are no special facilities for visitors in the park. The park is divided into two unconnected areas, north and south of Fortis Creek , a tributary of the Clarence River . In the northeast, the Banyabba Nature Reserve , a state reserve, connects to the national park.

The forest consists of different types of eucalyptus , u. a. the species groups designated as Bloodwood and Spotted Gum and the Eucalyptus punctata designated as Gray Gum, but also other trees. The animal world offers koalas , long-winged bats ( Miniopterus Schreibersii ) and reddish bats ( Pipistrellus subflavus ).
