The Richmond Range National Park is a national park in the northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales , 605 km north of Sydney and around 60 km west of Lismore .

The Bruxner Highway separates it from Mallanganee National Park in the south. Both national parks are on the Richmond Range. Toonumbar National Park connects to the north .

In the national park there are eucalyptus and gondwana rainforests , which provide a habitat for many rare animals and plants. One of the rarer eucalyptus trees is the spotted gum .

In the past, the country was inhabited by the Githabul Aboriginal tribe. A usage contract for the construction of the national park was concluded with them. You are involved in the management of the park.
