The Booti Booti National Park is a national park in north-eastern Australian state of New South Wales , 282 km north-east of Sydney and 10 km south of Forster .

The first European resident of the area was Captain J. Gogerly , who sailed from Forster to Sydney with timber loads . He and some of his family members are buried in the park area.

On September 30, 1977 the area of ​​today's park became the State Recreation Area and in 1992 it was rededicated as a national park.
