The Lachlan Valley National Park (including the Kalyarr National Park ) is a national park in the south of the Australian state of New South Wales , 31 km northwest of Hay and 95 km west of Balranald .

The national park is located exactly between the lower reaches of the Murrumbidgee River and Lachlan River . It was created in July 2010 from the combination of the former Kalyarr National Park (opened in June 2005) with the Booligal State Forest , the McFarlands State Forest , the Moon Moon State Forest and the Oxley State Forest . The four state forests lie along the lower Lachlan Valley. Hence the name 'Lachlan Valley National Park' was chosen. In the southern part of the park, the former Kalyarr National Park, the Darcoola settlement lies at the end of the only unpaved access road.
