The Grand Prix François Faber is the oldest road bike race in Luxembourg . The first race was held in 1918. It has taken place annually since then - with a few interruptions.
In 1977 ACC Contern took over the organization of the Grand Prix François Faber from UCA Wiltz and held it as a stage race over several days.
The GP FF has been held as a one-day race since 1990 .
The 88th François Faber Grand Prix took place in 2010 on a circuit of 11 kilometers, which was driven 11 times. H. over a racing distance of 121 kilometers. The course was slightly undulating and had a height difference of 150 meters per lap. The start and finish were in the rue de Luxembourg in Contern . The goal was at the end of a flat straight 250 meters.
