Raffaele Andreassi (born August 2, 1924 in L'Aquila ; † November 2008 ) was an Italian poet , journalist and documentary filmmaker .

Life

Andreassi worked as a journalist from 1946 - numerous interviews under his leadership appeared in various publications - and a freelance writer of essays, poems, stories and art reviews. A first significant work was the volume of poetry Paesi del cuore published in 1959 , which together with the poetry nuove received great attention.

He also worked as a documentary filmmaker from 1949; His short films about art and artists deserve special mention. Around 20 works were created by 1970. Andreassi also made some feature films , some of them co-directed. Independently and according to his own script, he staged the barely published L'amore povero , the documentary I piaceri proibiti , which was re-edited in the course of the sexy films and therefore not shown by him as authorized, as well as the also barely visible flashback from 1969. After doing a lot of work for television, the late work I lupi dentro was published in 1999 , for which he also took over the camera and editing. In this film, too, he refers to the artist Antonio Ligabue , about whom he had made a remarkable documentary in 1960.
