Rafael Scapini de Almeida , better known as Rafinha (born June 29, 1982 ) is a Brazilian football player who is used in offensive positions at his clubs. While he was still a striker at Oulu and Tampere United, he was repurposed as a midfielder in Helsinki and Ghent.
Career
Rafinha moved in 2005 from the Brazilian club Campinas Futebol Clube to Finland to AC Oulu in the Veikkausliiga . After Oulus relegated to the Ykkönen , he moved to Tampere United . For the 2010 season he moved to master HJK Helsinki . After the failure of his team in the playoffs for the Europa League 2011/12 against FC Schalke 04 , Rafinha moved to the Belgian Pro League at KAA Gent in August 2011 . After a total of four and a half years in Belgium, he returned to HJK Helsinki on a free transfer in the summer of 2016 and signed a contract there until 2019.
