Rafiq Zakaria

Rafiq Zakaria (born April 5, 1920 in Nala Sopara , † July 9, 2005 in Mumbai ) was an Indian politician, lawyer and author of political books.

Life

Zakaria was a veteran of the Congress Party and after independence held a variety of public offices, including B. as Minister of State in the state of Maharashtra , Member of the Indian Parliament and as Ambassador to the United Nations.

He studied law first in Mumbai, then in London, where he received his doctorate. He practiced there as a barrister at Lincoln's Inn , and later in Mumbai as attorney general.
