Framework curriculum

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A framework curriculum is a curriculum for vocational training that describes the competencies sought and - in most cases - the content of the vocational teaching at the vocational school . It is not to be confused with the training framework plan, which defines the relevant skills, knowledge and abilities within the company training in terms of subject matter and time; this is part of the respective training regulations .

The framework curriculum does not contain any methodological specifications for teaching. Since the trainees have different experiences and previous qualifications, the framework curriculum must be quite open (it just provides the framework ). A framework curriculum is structured according to learning fields . This means that it can be adapted to the needs of the vocational schools in the individual federal states. This is done by implementing and adapting the framework curriculum in your own curricula. The implementation in such more specific curricula is a matter for the federal states.

Framework curricula are decided by the Standing Conference of Education Ministers and Senators of the Länder (KMK), while the training framework plan is decreed by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology .

Framework curricula and training framework plans are always jointly z. B. published in the Federal Gazette .
