The Raiffeisen Bausparkasse is the special institute of the Raiffeisen banking group for housing finance. Since it was founded in 1961, the company has provided around € 30 billion in financing, with more than 480,000 residential units being built in Austria and living space created for 1.4 million people. Currently 1.7 million savers and borrowers are Raiffeisen Bausparkasse customers.

history

In 1961, Raiffeisen took over the smallest Austrian building society "Dein Heim" and then appeared under the name Raiffeisen Bausparkasse. In the following decades - in 1973 the building society savings scheme was introduced - building society savings became one of the most popular forms of savings. Today Raiffeisen Bausparkasse is an international company with around 3.2 million customers in Austria, the Czech Republic, Romania and Slovakia.
