Raimondo Del Balzo
Raimondo Del Balzo (born January 17, 1939 in Rome , † September 22, 1995 ibid) was an Italian screenwriter and director .
Life
Del Balzo trained as a journalist and also worked as such. He wrote for the film for the first time in 1967, and six years later his directorial debut L'ultima neve di primavera was a great success, followed by a smaller one the following year with Bianchi cavalli d'agosto . His handling of thematically difficult materials with a light hand and sensitivity was praised. His trademarks, strongly sentimental moments, which mainly originate from the 1980s, could no longer compete with these films can also be found in his other contributions.
