Raimund Hargesheimer

Raimund Hargesheimer (born September 14, 1953 in Fulda ), grew up in Frankfurt am Main, is a former German judoka .

Life

He started in the Frankfurt Judo Police Sports Club Grün-Weiß Frankfurt in 1965 and, at the age of 16, took 3rd place at the European Youth Championships in Bordeaux. He achieved his titles a. a. with national coach Heiner Metzler , like the 1973 military world championship in middleweight. He studied sports science with a diploma at the German Sport University Cologne . He wrote his diploma thesis on the subject of "Perception as a prerequisite for technical and tactical skills in judo and ways of improving it in the context of sport-specific training". Today he works as a therapist and coach in Saarbrücken.
