Raymond IV (Turenne)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Raymond IV († probably 1243) was a vice count of Turenne from the House of Comborn . He was a son of Vice Count Raimund III. and the Helie from Severac.

Raimund declared his will to participate in a crusade ( Crusade of Damiette , or Fifth Crusade) in a document issued in Martel in 1219 . He was married to Alix, a daughter of Count Guido II of Auvergne . They had a daughter named Hélis, who was married to Elias Rudel von Bergerac. Her inheritance was successfully contested by Raimund's nephew, Raimund V. , at the latest after her mother's death around 1250 .
