Raymond of Antioch

Raimund of Antioch (* around 1195, † 1213 in Tortosa ) was the eldest son of Prince Bohemond IV of Antioch († 1233) and the Plaisance of Gibelet.

Eighteen-year-old Raimund was murdered by assassins in 1213 in the Cathedral of Tortosa (now Tartus ) . The circumstances of the crime and the motive for the murder are unknown. An involvement of the Hospitaller Order , who was hostile to the victim's father, remained speculation in contemporary lore.

In retaliation has Prince Bohemund IV.
