Rainer Ginsthofer (born April 8, 1977 ) is an Austrian football player on the position of defender who previously played with SV Stockerau in the Austrian second division .

Career

At the age of 20 Ginsthofer moved to SV Stockerau in the first league , where he was able to convince in his first matches. During the 1998/99 season , Ginsthofer was involved in almost every game in Stockerau. Despite the ongoing missions, Ginsthofer moved to the national league club SV Langenrohr in the summer of 1999 . He was used there regularly, and so after a little over ten years he had over 250 assignments for Langenrohr. During the winter break of 2009/10 , Ginsthofer went one level lower to SV Absdorf. In the summer he moved on to Tulln . After three years in the district capital, he moved to SV Absdorf and SC Muckendorf for one year, where he played his last soccer game in spring 2019.
