Rudolf Ginsthofer (born November 10, 1970 ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a striker, who previously played with SV Stockerau in the Austrian second division . He is currently a trainer at USC Muckendorf / Zeiselmauer in the Lower Austrian 1st class Northwest .
Career
player
At the age of 21, Ginsthofer moved to the then 2nd national division club SV Langenrohr , where he only stayed for half a year because he was awarded to SV Stockerau , who were then playing in the Regionalliga Ost. After half a year he returned to Langenrohr, which had meanwhile been promoted to the Lower Austria regional league . After two years he went to ASK Kottingbrunn , where he only stayed for a relatively short time. He then moved to the first division for SV Stockerau, where Rainer Ginsthofer also played. But he only stayed there for a short time and moved again to Langenrohr, where he was then seven years. His last move was to SV Absdorf, where he ended his active football career in 2009.
Trainer
Ginsthofer began his coaching work at SV Absdorf while he was still an active footballer. There after two years he moved to SV Rust in the 2nd class Danube. After a year he went back to Absdorf, and then switched back to his old place of work, FC Tulln , where he was the coach of the fighting team until 2017.
Ginsthofer holds the UEFA B license.
