Rainer Höft

Rainer Höft (born April 3, 1956 in Berlin ) is a former German handball player .

He played a total of 96 times for the GDR national team and scored 169 goals. He was with the team in 1978 third at the handball world championship and won the gold medal at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow . In the GDR league , he played for SC Dynamo Berlin . 1980 Höft received the Patriotic Order of Merit in silver.
