Rainer Lippert (born August 4, 1947 ) is a former German soccer player.

Career

Lippert played for VfR Heilbronn from the C-youth . He was considered a great talent and already came as a junior in the 1965/66 season to first assignments in the first team of the club, which played in the 1st amateur league. After no agreement was reached in contract negotiations with VfR, Lippert moved to local rivals Union Böckingen for the 1967/68 season . This had legal consequences, as Böckingen was accused of having persuaded the player to switch in exchange for the payment of 2500 DM. After only one season at Böckingen, Lippert returned to Heilbronn.

In 1969 Lippert was promoted to the Regionalliga Süd with VfR Heilbronn , which was then the second highest division in Germany. On December 12, 1970, Lippert suffered a serious knee injury in the 2-0 victory in the DFB Cup against defending champion Kickers Offenbach and had to take a break for several months. For the 1971/72 season he moved to SpVgg 07 Ludwigsburg , where he played two more rounds of football in the Regionalliga Süd. He played a total of 52 league games for the sports association from 1971 to 1973. After the relegation of Ludwigsburg, he was active in the last season of the old second-rate regional league, 1973/74, at FSV Frankfurt . At the side of player-coach Horst Trimhold , he played 26 rounds for the Bornheimer.

Lippert spent his last station in the North Baden amateur camp at SV Neckargerach , with whom he won the BFV Cup in 1976 alongside the later Bundesliga professional Stephan Groß . The following year he appeared with the club nationwide when he reached the second round of the DFB Cup with this after a victory over SSV Ulm in 1846 , in which the team failed at the second division club FK Pirmasens . 1977 Lippert left the club to work as a football coach in the lower amateur classes. After stations as a player-coach in the A and B classes, he acted a. a. as head coach of FV Zuffenhausen during the 1982/83 season in the Württemberg Football Association .
