Rainer Olbrich

Rainer Olbrich (* 1963 in Olsberg ) is a German economist .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1983 in Winterberg , he completed his studies in business administration and economics at the University of Münster (1983–1988) in 1988 with a degree in business administration. From 1988 to 1997 he worked as a research assistant in Münster . After receiving his doctorate from the University of Münster's Faculty of Economics in 1992 as Dr. rer. pole. and habilitation in 1997 for the subject of business administration, he was appointed university professor at the FernUniversität in Hagen in 1997 .

His fields of work are research, marketing, in particular consumer goods marketing and trade marketing, as well as marketing controlling.
