Rainer Paris
Rainer Paris (* 1948 in Oldenburg ) is a German sociologist .
After studying sociology, psychology and German studies at the Free University of Berlin, Paris published mainly on questions of power and organizational sociology, including problems of gender power, often with an accent critical of feminism.
Rainer Paris taught from 1994 to 2013 as a professor of sociology at the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences. He has published numerous articles in specialist and cultural journals, including in the sociology column of the monthly Merkur .
