Rainer Thomas

Rainer Thomas (born December 26, 1939 in Minden ) is a German publisher and senior director of the newspaper publisher JCC Bruns in the East Westphalian city ​​of Minden.

Life

Thomas joined the family business at the age of 25, and on December 3, 1977, after the death of his father, he took over the management of the publishing house. Under his leadership, the publishing house was separated from downtown Minden and relocated to the modern, large printing house on Trippeldamm, where the foundation stone was laid in 1974. He led the Bruns company from the industrial age into the internet age. In 2004 Rainer Thomas received the Federal Cross of Merit for his patronage of local institutions.

He handed over the management of the company to his son Sven Thomas.
