Adolf Rakowitsch (born September 14, 1860 in Vienna ; † May 29, 1907 ibid) was an Austrian child actor , theater actor and comedian .

Life

Adolf Rakowitsch, son of an Austrian civil servant, already appeared in the children's comedies which were shown at the theater in der Josefstadt . Since he also went on tour with this company, his parents allowed him to devote himself fully to the acting profession.

He made his debut at the Ringtheater in 1878 , then came to St. Pölten in 1879 , was in Krems from 1880 to 1881 and then returned to his hometown.

There he worked again at the Josefstädter Theater from 1882 to 1889, at the Carltheater from 1895 to 1898 and at the newly founded Kaiser Jubilee City Theater from 1898 to 1905.

From 1905 to 1906 he was a member of the Danzers Orpheum and in 1906 of the Colosseum .

His role subject was that of comedian, in which he celebrated the greatest successes.
