Ralf Dewenter
Ralf Dewenter (* 1968 in Bochum ) is a German economist.
Life
He studied economics at the universities of Konstanz and Essen . He was a doctoral and doctoral student at the University of St. Gallen and a doctoral student at the University of Duisburg-Essen , Essen campus. After graduating as Dr. rer. pole. at the University of Duisburg-Essen in 2003 and his habilitation in economics at the Helmut Schmidt University in 2008, he was Professor and Head of the Department of Economic Theory at the Faculty of Economics at the TU Ilmenau (2009-2010) and Professor at the University of Düsseldorf , Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics, Chair for Economics, especially empirical competition analysis (2010–2013). Since 2013 he has been teaching as a professor of economics, especially industrial economics at the Helmut Schmidt University.
