Ralf Forster (born April 25, 1961 - May 14, 2020 ) was a German soccer player .

Career

Forster played for FV Salamander Kornwestheim until 1982 , before the trained defender then moved to the Stuttgart Kickers in the 2nd Bundesliga . He stayed here until the 1987/88 season, but then had to give up football due to a torn cruciate ligament and became a sports disabled person. He played 147 games in the second division (11 goals).

His most greatest success as a player was the participation in the DFB Cup Finals 1986/87 .

In 1999 Forster became youth coach at FV Salamander Kornwestheim, and a year later coach of the first team.
