Ralf Gehler

Ralf Gehler (* 1963 in Schwerin ) is a German musicologist and bagpiper .

Gehler studied European ethnology and history at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1990 to 1996 . He was at the University of Kiel Dr. phil is doing his doctorate. From 2009 to 2014 he worked as a research assistant at the Museum for Everyday Culture in the Griesen area in Hagenow. He has been working as a freelancer since 2014. He was and is a member of various projects: Quickborn (1985–1987), Tüdderkram (1987–1987), Lewark (1989–1992), Ostkreuz Combo , Clasen & Consorten , Reffka , Trespan , Kwart , Malbrook , Pipenbockorchester and The Irish Dutchman Session .
