Ralf Meier (born June 13, 1960 in Duisburg ) is a German journalist and author.

Life

After graduating from high school and the German Armed Forces, he was unable to study journalism in California due to a serious car accident and instead began his journalistic career in 1982 as a career changer at SPORT & FITNESS, an early German fitness magazine. Within a year he took over the management of the editorial department, which he held until the magazine was discontinued in 2004. At the beginning of the 1990s he intensified his activities outside of everyday editorial work and studied linguistics and communication sciences at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. He works as a freelance journalist for various magazines and daily newspapers and as an author and co-author, u. a. for Bertelsmann, Meyer & Meyer and Gondrom publishers. Recently, Ralf Meier, who now lives and works in Gahlen, has increasingly devoted himself to advising companies on their public relations work, but has always remained true to the fitness concept that he has propagated for over two decades. Numerous athletes such as Olympic champion Rolf Milser and " Gladiator " Ralf Moeller have been friends for many years.
