Ralph Berndt

Ralph Berndt (born August 1, 1947 in Hamburg ; † July 24, 2020 in Hamburg) was a German economist . From 1985 to 2012 he was Professor of Business Administration at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen .

Life

Ralph Berndt studied business administration at the University of Hamburg . He was born in 1977 with the dissertation Optimal advertising media and advertising material selection. An analysis taking into account the advertising successes that can be achieved through repeated use of an advertising medium for the Dr. rer. pole. PhD. In 1981 he qualified as a professor with the title Introduction planning for new products with uncertain expectations. A decision-theoretic analysis .

In 1984 he became a professor at the University of Hamburg. From 1986 to 2012 he was a full professor of business administration , especially marketing, at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen . He was also a member of the GSBA Zurich Board of Trustees . He was the author of numerous books.
