Ralph Bloet (nobleman, † around 1112)
Ralph Bloet (also Ralph I Bloet ) († around 1112) was an Anglo-Norman nobleman. He is considered to be the founder of the Bloet family .
Ralph Bloet is named in the Domesday Book around 1086 as the most important vassal of the southwestern Welsh rule Striguil . He also owned lands in Hampshire , Somerset , Wiltshire and Gloucestershire . Before 1100 he obviously acquired the goods from Walter Balistarius . Before 1100 he donated Gloucester Abbey the Ruddle estate in Gloucestershire. Before 1112 he confirmed the donation of the Bulley estate in Gloucestershire to the same monastery. His heir became his son or grandson Ralph II Bloet († around 1157)
