Ralph brother
Ralph Bruder (* 1963 ) is a German ergonomist and professor at the Technical University of Darmstadt .
Life
From 1982 to 1988, Bruder worked in electrical engineering , specializing in control engineering , at the Technical University of Darmstadt . He then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Industrial Engineering and obtained his doctorate in 1992 in the mechanical engineering department for the application of artificial intelligence in industrial engineering (both also at the TH Darmstadt). In 1996 he accepted an offer from the University of Duisburg-Essen for a professorship for ergonomics in design. Since 2006 he has been professor for ergonomics at the TU Darmstadt . He also heads the Institute for Ergonomics (IAD) there.
Ralph Bruder was full-time Vice President of the Technical University of Darmstadt from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2019 .
