Ralph Burghart (born September 16, 1966 ) is a former Austrian figure skater who started in a single run and is now a coach. He was Austrian figure skating champion seven times (84–85; 86–87; 87–88; 88–89; 89–90; 90–91; 91–92).

He took part in the 1992 Olympic Games in Albertville , where he only came in 18th place, similar to the European and World Championships. After his athletic career, he also drove for the Ice Capades commercial show and began working as a coach in Alaska . His most famous pupil is Keegan Messing .

family

Burghart married his American colleague Rory Flack in 1992 . With her he has two sons, Rendell (born September 28, 1993) and Remington (born January 17, 1997). Rendell plays tennis for Division 1, Eastern Washington University, and Remington also competes as a figure skater. Burghart and Flack divorced in 2009, and Burghart is now married to Cheryl Burghart.
