Ralph Erskine (preacher)
Ralph Erskine (born March 18, 1685 - † November 6, 1752 ) was a Scottish preacher .
Ralph Erskine was the brother of Ebenezer Erskine , another important churchman of his time. After graduating from Edinburgh University, Ralph Erskine worked in the Scottish city of Dunfermline .
From it come a number of sermons (ger .: " sermons ") and poetic paraphrases and Gospel - sonnet , which in printed form as The Gospel Sonnets were published.
In Dunfermline town center, near the High Street, there is a life-size bronze statue of Ralph Erskine.
