Ralph Heck

Ralph Heck (born October 13, 1956 in Eupen ) is a Belgian manager and has been CEO of the Bertelsmann Foundation since August 2020 .

Life

Heck studied industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe . After working for the International Monetary Fund , he worked for McKinsey & Company until 2017 . Since then he has worked as an independent consultant and supervisory board.

Heck has been a member of the Bertelsmann Foundation's Board of Trustees since 2012 . In 2019 it was announced that he would take over as CEO in August 2020 . He succeeded Aart De Geus , who left the foundation at the end of 2019.
