The Ram Bow Bluff is a 1390 m high and striking cliff in the East Antarctic Coatsland . It is on the east side of the Stephenson Bastion in the south-central part of the Shackleton Range .
It was first visited in 1957 by participants in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) led by British polar explorer Vivian Fuchs . Name factor was his to a battering ram ( English bow ram ) reminiscent shape.
