José Duarte Ramalho Ortigão
José Duarte Ramalho Ortigão (born October 24, 1836 in Porto , † September 27, 1915 in Lisbon ) was a Portuguese poet.
With O Mistério da Estrada de Sintra , he presented the first detective novel in Portuguese literature in 1870. Together with Eça de Queiroz , he edited the satirical As Farpas .
