Rampensau is a German television series, the first season of which has been broadcast on VOX since November 20, 2019 and comprises ten episodes. The series is based on the Israeli series Metumtemet . For the German adaptation, there were a total of 70 days of shooting in Berlin in the summer of 2019.
In contrast to most other German series, Rampensau has no completed episodes, but almost exclusively follows a storyline that encompasses the entire season.
In the 2020 annual preview of the station VOX, Rampensau 2 is already being advertised despite the below-average ratings , but an official press statement from the station is pending. Although the broadcaster had initially commissioned a second season, it was decided at the end of April due to financial considerations and the corona crisis to end the series after one season.

Shiri Conradi is an actress and as such, quite unsuccessful. In order to make ends meet financially, her buddy Louis finds her a waiter job at a police festival. There she meets the investigator Ulf, who wants to sleep with her. When this fails, he follows Shiri to her apartment and is turned away. On the way out of the house, Ulf meets Shiri's friend, discovers a large amount of drugs and arrests him.
At the same time, drugs come into circulation at a school. As a result of the consumption, the daughter of the Berlin Senator for the Interior falls into a coma and the investigators come under pressure to present progress quickly.
As a result of her boyfriend's arrest, Shiri is ready to do everything possible to relieve him and get him out of prison. Since she looks very young and the drug search investigators have to present the Interior Senator with a good idea, the idea comes up to send Shiri undercover as a student at the high school.
As the season progresses, Shiri actually manages to find out who is putting the drugs into circulation. However, after overhearing a conversation in which the investigators admit that they actually do not have enough evidence for the imprisonment of Shiri's friend Jonas and that they are only using him as leverage, Shiri hides her findings and instead tries to deal with drugs for one to be able to pay a particularly good lawyer.
