Benjamin Lillie (* 1985 in Siegburg ) is a German - Swedish actor .

Life

Benjamin Lillie was born to a German father and a Swedish mother. In 2004 he made his first theater experiences with theater projects at the Theater Bonn ( Reality Bites ) and in the cultural department "Bayer im Erholungshaus". From 2008 to 2012 he completed his acting training at the University of Music and Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig .

From 2010 to 2012 he was initially a member of the drama studio at the Centraltheater Leipzig . In the 2012/13 season he was then engaged as a member of the ensemble at the Centraltheater Leipzig. He embodied Tom Slezak, a "citizen's son privileged by life" and math genius, who as an "arrogant young banker" has a steep career ahead of him, but which breaks when his mentor dies. He won the Grimme Prize in 2017 for his portrayal . In addition, he was nominated for his role in 2017 for the German Actor Award as “Best Young Actor”.
