Eva Meckbach

Eva Meckbach (born January 26, 1981 in Seeheim-Jugenheim ) is a German actress .

Life

Eva Meckbach grew up in Heidenheim an der Brenz . From 2000 to 2001 she took part in the Theater Total theater project in Bochum. She received her acting training from 2003 to 2006 at the Berlin University of the Arts . From 2006 to 2019 she was a permanent member of the Schaubühne . In 2015 Eva Meckbach and the ensemble received the Russian Theater Prize Golden Mask for the play Tartuffe , staged by Michael Thalheimer , as well as the Prix ​​de critique de L'Association québécoise des critiques de théatre (Montreal 2015).

In 2012 Eva Meckbach starred in the drama What stays with Bernd Lange . Since September 2019 she has been one of the leading roles in the new Netflix series Criminal .

Eva Meckbach works regularly as an audio book speaker. In 2019 she was awarded the German Audio Book Prize as best interpreter for the audio book by Deutsches Haus by author Annette Hess .
