Randall Azofeifa Corrales (born December 30, 1984 in San José ) is a Costa Rican soccer player .
Career
society
Azofeifa plays in the central midfield at the Costa Rican club Deportivo Saprissa . At the age of 17 he made his debut in the first division, his breakthrough came in 2005 with winning the CONCACAF Champions Cup and an outstanding 2005/06 season, which Saprissa concluded with the championship title.
In spring 2011, he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig to Gençlerbirliği Ankara . Here he played for the next two and a half seasons and left this club when his contract ended in summer 2013.
In the summer of 2013 he followed with several teammates and his coach Fuat Çapa to the first division newcomer Kayseri Erciyesspor . His contract was terminated here after just one season.
National team
He was also steadily improving in the Costa Rican national team . After the good season performance on October 12, 2005, the U17 and U20 were appointed to the senior national team for the first time. Thanks to his performance, he is also the youngest player in his country in the squad for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. With him, Gabriel Badilla and Gilberto Martínez , the team’s three youngest players (all born in 1984) all come from Deportivo Saprissa.
