Randolf von Estorff

Randolf von Estorff (born April 24, 1957 ) is a German economist and manager .

Life

Randolf von Estorff studied economics and business administration at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg . He received his PhD in 1987. Dr. rer. pole. at the Chair of Business Administration with Wolfgang Männel on a topic from cost and performance accounting .

In the same year he joined the Quelle Schickedanz AG & Co. company . In 1989 he moved to the group's financial services division. He is co-founder of Quelle Bauspar AG and KarstadtQuelle Krankenversicherung AG . In 1994 he was appointed to the board of directors of the three KarstadtQuelle insurance companies at the time, today's ERGO Direkt Versicherungen . From 2001 to 2011, he was also chairman of the supervisory board of Welivit AG , which deals with the conception and financing of photovoltaic projects.

At the end of March 2011, he resigned from the board of ERGO Direkt Versicherungen. Since then he has been working as a freelance economic and financial advisor and is volunteering on the boards of several citizens' initiatives. In November 2016 he was elected mayor of the Barnstedt community .
