The Ranvikbreen is a wide glacier on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It flows into the southern part of Ranvik , a side bay in the south-eastern part of Prydz Bay .
Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs from the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . They named it after the name of the bay Ranvik, which was named after the property of the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur Lars Christensen .
