After his training he was on various stages in Germany and Austria, including the Austrian national stage, the Schaubühne Vienna and the theater summer in Haag.

In 2015, Raphael Cisar had his first experience in directing when he took on this for the short film project Lieber Markus .

In January 2016 Raphael Cisar was engaged as an actor through an audition for a theater project of the Vienna Burgtheater. At the same time he shot the short film Conjunctio for which he received a nomination and an award for best actor.
