Raphael Müller

Raphael Müller (born September 24, 1999 in Aichach ) is a highly talented German autistic and young silent author .

Life

Raphael Müller visits the Deutschherren-Gymnasium in Aichach with an accompanying person. He suffered a stroke before he was born. He is in a wheelchair and has epilepsy and autism. Using supported communication (FC) he can communicate in writing.

Müller likes to read, write and write poetry. In 2008 his poem "The Moment" was included in the anthology of the Brentano Society Frankfurt / M. released. One year later, “Das Dichten” in the anthology “Beste Gedichte 09/10”. In 2009, 15 of his poems were printed in the book of poems "Waldwege". At the age of 14 he wrote his biography "I fly with torn wings", which was published in French in 2017. From 2015 the fantasy stories "Asa and Gasa" with their "Adventures in the Land of the Dwarfs" were published by Fontis-Verlag. In it he describes his feeling of being trapped in his own body without the possibility of speaking, gesturing or being able to move freely. It wants to stimulate thought about inclusion and suggests: “I don't want to live in a ghetto”.
